Why will the GA code I’ve been using for years stop working?
The Universal Analytics code that most people have been using forever, was developed for older technology and processes, the web has grown and evolved since Universal Analytics was released and an advanced tool was developed by Google that would take over for it, Google Analytics 4.
What do I need to do?
If you manage your own Google Analytics account you should have received correspondence from Google providing a guide to converting everything over. You have a little over a year but don’t procrastinate, you don’t want to forget and end up scrambling at the last minute to switch over.
