Meet Ryan Riveness
Lead Website Designer & Developer
Ryan has been Strategy 3's resident website guru for over 12 years now, back when the agency had a grand total of 7 clients. These days he juggles more than 60 WordPress sites for small and medium sized businesses, everything from law firms and therapists to plumbing companies, and while Strategy 3 is based in Tacoma, his client list stretches well beyond it, all the way across the country. Not being niche is part of the appeal. Jumping between totally different industries keeps things interesting.
He has an AAS-T in Graphic Technologies from Clover Park Technical College, which is a fancy way of saying he learned how to make things look good and work right. He is genuinely into both halves of the job, the creative side of design and the troubleshooting side of development, and he is involved from the very first planning conversation all the way through launch, hosting, and whatever maintenance headaches come up later. If it has anything to do with a website, odds are it lands on his desk eventually. Ask him what he likes most about the job and he will tell you it is the team he works with, and honestly, getting paid to be creative every day is a pretty great deal too.
Outside the office, Ryan is a lifelong Washington guy who spends his free time with his two sons, usually at the movies. He is also always up for live music, festivals, travel, hanging out with friends, and any excuse to get out on the water.
