When Things Don’t Work Out, Website Design – A Guide To Success, Showcase Your Expertise On Social Media
There is something to be said for staying the course….if you’re on the right course (of course). But sometimes a pivot makes more sense. This goes for life and it goes for marketing too. What worked last month might not work this month and what worked for one campaign might not work for another.
Comedians know that the jokes don’t always land the same for every audience. My favorite comic is likely not yours, nor my favorite snack, vacation destination, tv show, etc. Preferences are not right or wrong, they are just preferences.
Our marketing can cater to the large central peak of the bell curve (when we don’t know our audience well or want to play it safe) or it can be more targeted and nuanced. Sometimes, we don’t know what to do so we make a best guess.
But the bottom line is the bottom line and what we do needs to achieve our end goal…at least eventually it does. Because if it doesn’t then why are we even doing it?
