The Brand Trend: In 2022, brands are expected to heavily focus on community. 77% of people surveyed said that the most important community they are part of operates online.

The Network Effectiveness Trend: Businesses are getting creative as consumers wise up to social ads, and 51% of businesses are planning to increase their paid social budgets in 2022.

The ROI Trend: Social is expected to quietly mature out of the general marketing department as 83% of businesses said they are confident in quantifying the ROI of their social efforts, up from 68% in the past.

The Social Commerce Trend: Throughout the pandemic, social became the heart of the shopping experience for many. 53% of global internet users between the ages of 16 – 24 claim to use social media as a primary source of information when researching brands and businesses.

The Customer Care Trend:  Social media managers will bridge the gap between marketing and customer service, and 59% of businesses agree that social customer care has increased in value for their organization.
