Meet Leah Knoll
Strategy 3’s Founder & Lead Strategist
Leah Knoll started Strategy 3 in 2012 with a simple conviction: small businesses deserve marketing that actually works for them, not just marketing that looks good on a report.
With over 25 years in sales and marketing, she has spent her career learning what makes people tick and what makes them trust. That foundation shapes everything Strategy 3 does, from the way the team builds websites to the way they write a single social media post. The goal is always to reflect the real person or business behind the brand, because that’s what connects with real customers.
Leah has served as President of the Stadium Business District Association and Vice President of the Cross District Association, advocating for neighborhood businesses and working directly with the city on development that actually serves small business owners. She’s also an active member of BNI’s “The A Team” chapter, where she talks honestly about the isolation that can come with running your own business and why genuine connection still matters more than any algorithm.
When she’s not in strategy mode, she’s probably planning her next trip somewhere warm and humid, or finding an excuse to meet a client face to face rather than over Zoom. She believes some conversations are just better in person, and she’ll always make time for those.

Kelly has been in marketing and graphic design for to many years to name. Her roots lay in ski area marketing in the very competitive Colorado market, moving on to the training department of the Yellow Pages (where she met Leah!). After her daughter was born, she worked freelance graphic design creating magazines and assisting other small to medium sized business. Kelly loves when you give her a bunch of random information and set her free to come up with something great for you. Leah and Kelly like to laugh – Kelly can’t follow directions very well, but that’s why we love her. When you can’t find Kelly, she’s either walking her adorable dog, Lucy; hanging out with her husband, Rod; or chasing summer with her daughter, Allison, who is currently a “wrangler” in Colorado.
Kate has been in advertising sales and marketing for years helping hundreds of businesses as well as advertising agencies throughout the Pacific Northwest. Meaghan is a creative writer based in the Pacific Northwest, helping businesses tell their stories. She is a self-proclaimed nerd in all things writing, running, and adventuring. Proficient in fly fishing, mountain biking, and baking. dabbling as an outdoor dirt enthusiast. At Strategy 3, you’ll find her behind the social media lens, and writing copy for clients in many forms.

Andrew, the newest graphic designer at Strategy 3. As a local Northwest fine artist, he most recently works in oil paint and printmaking. He brings a unique fine artistic perspective and extensive knowledge of color and compositional theory to every design challenge. He believes the best brand visuals blend traditional artistry with modern strategy – creating designs that are both beautiful and business-smart.
