3 Things For December 3rd, 2020

2021, Web Design & Development, & Instagram’s New Feature

2021 – Ready or N… Just kidding, I Know You’re Ready!

There hasn’t been a more anticipated new year since Y2K.  And, even though literally January 1st probably won’t feel much different from December 31st, figuratively we’ll all be ready for a fresh start. As the world takes a collective sigh of relief that 2020 is behind us, business owners will be looking closely at what is working and what isn’t working for the future of their business.  We can no longer rely on our well thought out plans to go…well as planned.  So, our planning should look a little different, understanding that uncertainty is still the norm right now and change can surprise us at any time. Uncertainty, when embraced can turn into heightened creativity. And among the many lessons from 2020, is that we all need to get more creative sometimes. So, I know you’re ready for 2021, but is your marketing ready for 2021? If you’re uncertain about the answer, give us a call and let us help you put together a plan that is both flexible and creative!

Instagram Adds New Keyword Search Feature

Over the last few weeks, Instagram unveiled a new feature which now gives users the capability to search for specific keywords, as opposed to being limited to only profiles, hashtags, and locations. Users can now simply tap on specific search terms and the app will display all the posts that include those exact words. Not only will the new keyword search feature make it easier for users to find a wider range of content, but it will also benefit brands and businesses who are looking to maximize their Instagram performance and presence. If you have questions surrounding your business’s presence on social media, get in touch with our team at Strategy 3 today. We are always happy to help!

Web Design vs Web Development: What’s the Difference?

Executing an effective website includes a combination of web design and web development. The web design guides the web development process. A web designer is responsible for the overall look and style of the website, as well as the usability. They make decisions on color, typography, layout and images for a unified aesthetic. These decisions provide the web developer with a plan and guide to build the website. A web developer is responsible for taking the web designer’s vision and building a fully functioning website from the design. They use code such as HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP to translate the design into an interactive user experience. Web design and web development go hand in hand, and each is important to have a quality website. Strategy 3 has the ability to guide you through the process, designing and developing a website for you that will accomplish your business goals. Contact us today for a consultation!
